Stop Smoking & Other Addictive Behaviours Do you want to stop smoking, but this time
stop for good? Are you not just willing, but excited about building both a
vision and a path to a healthier and longer life? Although hypnotherapy has
been far more successful than numerous commercial products in ceasing smoking
and other addictive habits, I have taken this art to a new level of
personalized application.
Traditional hypnotic methods for terminating smoking and other addictive practices are based on a series of suggestions verbalized by the hypnotist after placing the client in a trance state. I had used hypnotic metaphors and suggestions with a very high level of success for many years, which I measured through follow-up contact with my clients about 1.5 years after my hypnotic interventions. Although my level of success certainly beat the norm in hypnotherapy, a small percentage of my clients called me several years later to book another appointment as they had begun to smoke again. I decided to create specific hypnotic tools that my clients could use in concert with their perceived need, pace and personal style to maintain a smoke-free life.
Ultimately, I created a series of what I refer to as Synergistic Trance Tools™ to both assist and empower my clients to guide themselves in rapid, effective and lasting change. I grouped my trance tools into eleven categories which I refer to as the 11 R’s of effective subconscious change. Generally, I train clients who come to me to stop smoking in the use of Synergistic Trance Tools™ related to Recognition (of specific cyclical patterns), Release (of the desire and urge to smoke), Receive (or create new cyclical patterns and Retain (retention of life as a non-smoker).
I have assisted clients with many forms of substantial addictions through various methods, concepts, life distinctions and specific trance tools. It is important to understand that all addictive behaviors are related to specific cyclical patterns with associated triggers which can be both identified and eliminated through use of an appropriate Synergistic Trance Tool™.
